During any outdoor journey, leadership styles are likely to differ and change from authoritarian in challenging and testing scenarios, to gentle participation as part of the group, helping development enjoyment.
A Guide or Instructor will help it go smoothly, make expert judgements with you on your behalf and importantly deal with things if mother-nature or other variables force us to change the plan.
