White Water Skills

White Water Paddling Skills
The versatility of the canoe is its success. Comfortable enough to paddle all day, and tough enough to take on white water in able hands. Rivers are another step along the canoe journey. Tackle rivers skillfully using the water and the boat to progress with control.
A few days concentrated river coaching will have a profound effect on your paddling. Learn to read the water and plan your route, break in the flow, surf waves, check your speed, ferry glide and set into eddies using pre-judgment and control. These moving water techniques can be perfected quickly under skilled guidance, opening up a world of classic river voyages, some lasting many days, leaving memories that last a life time.
